Links I’d share in private #28

Spring-y April

Easter has come and gone, and I’ve been treating myself to some well-deserved downtime – losing myself in books, catching up with friends, and enjoying the theater. April has been absolutely delightful so far, and spring is finally showing its colors. No more snow, weeeeeee!

Yesterday was hair day! I visited my neighborhood hairdresser who welcomes clients right in his home. There’s something so intimate and relaxing about the space – it turned into this perfect little self-care moment while he worked his magic on my locks. It’s funny how my gray strands seem more pronounced now with my shorter cut, since I’ve lost those red-blonde tips I used to have. Never thought I’d hear myself say this, but I’m actually loving my gray hair! Gives me a bit of a sage vibe 😉

Welcome to another edition of Links I’d share in private, a (bi-)weekly blog post about all the things and content I come across the Internet during my intense web binging, worthy of being shared to you all (instead of in all of my private group chats 🤣).

Please feel free to follow me on my social medias’ presences to stay up-to-date with my writings and witty commentary on anything the world throws to our faces! See my sidebar for a link to all my social medias accounts.

  • Honest Git glossary: that one make me cackled. Now that I don’t code on a daily basis, and don’t have to deal with Git anymore, the idea behind this image revived some deep and stressful memories of my time as a web developer
  • The <select> element can now be customized with CSS: FINALLY! OK, it’s only in Chrome for now, but it’s a beginning!
  • UIVerse.io – The Largest Library of Open-Source UI – Community-built library of UI elements. Copy as HTML/CSS, Tailwind, React and Figma.
  • Reimagining Fluid Typography: there’s nothing more beautiful than a beautiful typography on a gorgeous website. So I have a keen interest in making it fluid and responsive for any screen and sizes.
